What is UM2121?

For many years, some residents and small business owners have recognized the need to address the septic/waste water treatment problem in the commercial area of Union Milis. The problem severely limits any new building or business expansion in the area and can cause other problems for the small businesses that are still here. In the 1980’s, concerned residents took the initiatiive to undertake the “Save our Pond” effort that has greatly benefited our community for many years. UM2121 is a similar, grassroots effort to provide a sensible, environmentally sound solution to the wastewater treatment problem. We believe that this problem must be addressed for our community to grow and better serve the needs of our residents. We welcome your assistance and invite you to join us in this endeavor.
